Conditions of Cattery Acceptance
|
ELDERLY/DISABLED CATS: We
reserve the right to refuse a cat, if they
are old/frail or ill. (A boarding cattery is
primarily for looking after healthy cats.)
We are not qualified, nor do we charge
veterinary prices for looking after cats
that need specialised nursing.
All cats must be fully vaccinated and the
Vets card must accompany cats on each
boarding occasion. Your Vet can advise
you on this.
No un-neutered males over six months
of age accepted.
MEDICATION: Cats will not be accepted
who are on medication for life
threatening illnesses or have been
diagnosed with infectious diseases. Cats
on medication will only be accepted if
the medication can be given with food
(due to the risk of injury to staff). There
is an extra charge made for this of 50p
per day.
We advise Flea Treatment prior to
arrival. Cats who are seen by us to have
fleas will be treated and the owner must
pay for such treatment on collection.
INSURANCE: Clients are reminded that
they are responsible for meeting
veterinary costs.
In the case of accident, injury or
sickness, your cat will be taken to a Vet
for treatment. Animal welfare is our
primary concern. A vet is on call 24
hours a day.
FEES: All fees must be paid upon
delivery. There is no exception to this.
Cash or Cheque supported by a
Banker's Card are acceptable methods
of payment. We do not accept credit
cards or switch.
For all clients a deposit of 20% of the
boarding charge or £20 (whichever is
the greater) will be required at the time
of booking. Dates booked must be paid
for even if you arrive back early from
your holiday, so please make sure of
your dates.

CONFIRMATION: At busy times of the
year (Bank Holidays, School Holidays
and Christmas) You also need to
confirm your reservation by telephone at
least four weeks in advance.
It is a condition of us boarding your cat
that if you cancel your booking less than
14 days prior to the first day of the
period booked, we will expect you to pay
for any days which we cannot re-allocate.
OPENING TIMES: for visiting. collection
and delivery. We pride ourselves that we
are a small caring cattery, putting the
cats' welfare before profit, therefore we
do not open all day. Our clients have
told us that it was one of the reasons
that they like their cats to stay with us.
Many cats are very nervous of
strangers. People continually coming
and going all day does upset the cats.
We find that our opening time of
mornings only helps the cats to settle
quietly. It is very calm here in the
afternoons, when the cats can relax, in
peace and tranquility.
We cannot accept unscheduled
deliveries and collections or views. All
appointments must be arranged by
telephone.
FINALLY A REMINDER: If you cannot
collect your cat/s yourself, please
ensure that the person you send will be
able to handle your cat/s. We urge all
our customers to transport their pets to
and from us in an approved cat carrier.

A collection and delivery service is available £7 each way up to 5 miles radius & £1 per mile thereafter.

For the well being of all our other feline guests: only cats in full health may holiday with us.
